Is this the original Doge2 site?
No. The original smart contract owner that deployed Doge2 on BSC chain has been contacted many times about fixing the original site. This individual is no longer involved in helping Doge2.
Unfortunately he was given the website ownership in December of 2023 and decided to let it hang in error.
Are you associated with the original team?
Yes. I was the first developer brought in by the contract creator to help develop Doge2 projects and further the development of a Doge2 ecosystem.
Unfortunately I stepped back from Doge2 to deal with personal life events. I came back recently because I always held on to my Doge2 and I noticed the influx. I tried to see what was going on with the project only to find out it had been mostly abandoned.
So I decided to do what I could to help out the community and coding knowledge as I believe a project is only as good as its community.
Is Doge2 useful?
Doge2 is only as useful as the community lets it be. Dogecoin itself has the benefit of a blockchain, but in the long run of things, this doesn’t make it anymore valuable. It all just depends on the community.
Doge2 can currently be used to make purchases on the Nemesis Downfall game. And we are currently looking at writing and deploying a few smart contracts in the near future.
But Doge2 is a cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency carries with it considerable risk and is not considered legal currency in the United States.
What is in store for Doge2?
We are currently looking into creating a dex system for quickswapping Doge2. This is a project that was originally started 2 years ago, however I never got around to building.
All of the code is based on previous dexswapping systems so building and deploying with valuable security shouldn’t be to big of a concern.
What happened to the original team?
I had to step away from the community for awhile to deal with personal life issues. However the original two creators only recently stepped away from the project.
Will Cam and Char be back?
That depends on them. Char is still active and focusing on his own projects.
What website features are coming?
I will be focusing the website on the community building aspect. Forums and profiles that will integrate with the dex once it is complete. Etc.
